One review over the holidays was that my family and I went to Great Wolf Lodge in Washington State. It was great, the kids had a wonderful time...rooms were nice and the park catered to all age groups. I don't know if I would go for more than one day though...kids might be over the excitement of the water park and want to venture into the arcade or some of the other games they offer there for an additional dollar or $30-:) I can see you losing quite a bit of money on games...but if that is where you want to spend money on a vacation...then it would be great. My kids are 7 and almost 5. The arcade wasn't where I wanted them hanging out and the "wand" game which looked fun but at a cost of $30 ish a wand (not "personalized"...which would obviously cost more) was more than I wanted to spend. Looked fun and next time knowing that, and if we stay more than one day...we might do it but for now...the check in at 1pm and being able to be at the park until 9pm the next day was plenty. Everyone was exhausted from having such a great time. Highly recommend to other families!
Happy New Year to all and look forward to your comments, recipes, and shopping tips in this next year! Ohh...and check the internet for deals on booking for Great Wolf Lodge....you can get rooms considerably cheaper than if you book on the phone!
Ok...so now what really happened to my wardrobe during all that holiday traveling...well it wasn't very exciting although I got a few Anthropologie tops on sale that I wore...but all and all, I was comfortable, not entirely fashionable. But I also was not attending the golden globes, or any other red carpet event...just dinner with those I love most in this world...and some that were not able to be there in person, were there in spirit.
So here it is...the Ugly Truth about my wardrobe...this is minus my incredible blouse that is no longer available at Anthro which I couldn't find a larger picture of...
Bistro Dessert Blouse
And don't worry...not everything was black...ok...a lot was but bare with me...I have black dogs and was in the car a ton! Not an excuse but go with it ok:) And some of these pictures were as close as I could come to existing items in my wardrobe. Take note please that Taverniti Jeans run about 2 sizes to small...just in case you liked them...they are a real self esteem crusher:) Just don't look at the tags! And Reese...well she is in the shot because I wore my hair strait...strait and then the next day...you got it....strait. We are going to pretend that mine looked this good ok!?!
So that is it...you know everything now;) There wasn't a ballet flat or heal in site...except in my suitcase collecting dust:) See you tomorrow!
